The UP State Under-7 Chess Championship 2026 was held in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, from 24 April to 25 April 2026. Atharv finished 2nd in the Under-7 category, earning recognition at the state level.
Following his impressive performance, Atharv Sharma was selected to represent Uttar Pradesh in the National Under-7 Chess Championship 2026. Representing the state at a national-level championship is an important milestone in his young chess journey.
